Non-Objective/Mixed Media inspired by Jazz

Second Graders looked at several non-objective/non-representational artworks.  We discussed the value of line, shape and color in an abstract artwork. We also discussed how artists use line, shape and color to create non-representational artworks.  Students experimented with paint, crayon, rubbings, chalk and marker.  Our artworks were inspired by classic jazz music, which played while our minds and hands danced.
Love!!!
